FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoelectric instrument engineering, namely to thermoelectric battery (TEB) designs. According to the invention, the surface of structure formed by TEB lines is covered with thermal insulating dielectric material except for the places lying nearby to extended parts of commutation plates. An area not covered with a thermal insulation layer is equal to thermoelectric cell line thickness multiplied by 1/4 of its height. Not covered with thermal insulation surface is provided with longitudinal grooves. Heat is removed from commutation plates and from neighboring areas by fan due to forced air heat exchange.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of heat removal (supply).
