SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering. For this purpose a terminal with an established allocated channel in a serving radio network controller (SRNC), moves and is then connected to a radio network controller (RNC), which can support multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS). The radio network controller (RNC) towards which the terminal has moved, notifies the terminal whether multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) is accessible, and the terminal accordingly selects the desired service (for example, a service received earliear or a multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS)), in accordance with its status based on the corresponding information. The terminal cannot receive information on the service it desires since it cannot receive two allocated channels at once due to limited capacity with information on the new service.
EFFECT: presentation of high quality mobile communication services.
