SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and more specifically to channel interleaving in a wireless communication system. Method of interleaving bits of a code involves interleaving bits of a code in groups in accordance with a bit sequence in such a code pattern that, neighbouring bits of the code are displayed in different groups using an interleaving processor, and shifting bits of the code within each group in accordance with the bit sequence of the given group. The said bit sequence of the group is determined by arrangement of bits in groups, using an interleaving processor.
EFFECT: maximum channel separation through bit interleaving.
