SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering. A method and device are disclosed for displaying visual attribute effects on a screen for entering attributes of a mobile station using a differentiated graphical element in accordance with a push-button entry signal. In the method the theme of the visual attribute installed by the user is displayed in attribute entry mode, and the attribute entry effect, corresponding to the theme of the visual attribute, is displayed in accordance with the push-button entry signal. The mobile station can show the visual attribute effect in any sequence of the push-button entry by allowing the user to select the desired theme of the visual attribute beforehand.
