FIELD: jewellery industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to jewellery industry and method for making coloured image on items made of precious metals. Transparent film with coloured image is placed onto cleaned surface of item, then cold enamel mixed with catalyst is applied onto prepared surface of item with pattern in an even layer. According to the 2nd method, item surface is cleaned, finished down to ≥ 9th class of purity, engraved, then transparent film with coloured image is placed onto item surface, at the same time coloured pattern is matched with the one already engraved, on top surface of item is coated with even layer of cold enamel mixed with catalyst.
EFFECT: invention provides for production of coloured image on items made of precious metals.
