FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: spraying is carried out on the film surface of the product from the oxidized metal. Film local heating is performed by laser radiation, followed by plotting of a calibration curve of modified film surface colour dependency on the laser exposure modes. The image is applied by laser radiation in the mode selected by the resulting calibration curve.
EFFECT: invention allows to expand possibilities of printing on articles made of precious metals.
