SUBSTANCE: friction coupling absorbing gadget consists of casing with open front and closed rear ends to form a ledge that allows an elongated stroke and easily seat in absorbing gadget 24.625 inch-slot. Said friction coupling mechanism consist of a pair of outer fixed flat elements, pair of moving flat elements, pair of wedge shoes with their inner surface displaced with respect to friction coupling mechanism lengthwise axis, and central wedge mechanism including a pair of surfaces bevelled in a certain way. Upper bevelled surface of aforesaid pair of wedge shoes features a skew of approximately 49.0° to 50.0°. Pair of bevelled surfaces of central wedge features a skew of approximately 49.5°.
EFFECT: higher rated operating performances, smooth run of railway vehicle, higher total efficiency.
