FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to road construction, particularly to demountable surface of motor roads. Demountable surface of motor road consists of shields, ends of which are of curved shape, convex at one end, and concave at another; the concave end is equipped with a pin, while the convex one is equipped with a slot; also the shield consists of two semi-shields pivotally connected between them by means of axis passing through eyes created in a body of each semi-shield; further distances between eyes are equal to thickness of the eye; while eyes of the shields are set off relative to each other at thickness of the eye.
EFFECT: improved operation characteristics.
