SUBSTANCE: this invention refers to drilling bit designed for percussion drilling, namely to top hammer drilling. Drilling bit intended for percussion drilling has longitudinal central axis and includes body having a drilling head containing front surface having external part raised relative to front surface, many flushing ports passing through drilling head and interconnected with front surface in order to feed flushing medium thereto; at that, front surface has front teeth located on it; external part includes raised steel parts distributed in a circumferential direction, each of which has not more than two peripheral teeth located radially outwards from imaginary periphery crossing at least two front teeth and at least two flushing ports located actually annularly about central axis, and peripheral grooves made on external surface of drilling bit; at that, front surface of drilling head is interconnected with each peripheral groove by means of an additional groove inclined outwards and backwards. EFFECT: increasing service life of drilling bit.
