FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to exploitation of oil-gas fields, combined with thick mass of fractured and fissured-cavernous water-saturated carbonate formations, particularly to methods of limiting water flow in producing wells and regulating input profile of a well. The method involves preparation and pumping into a layer an inert emulsion based on hydrocarbon dispersion medium and a dispersed phase in form of chemically modified dispersed silica. Additionally, a gel forming composition can be used as a dispersed phase, where the said gel forming composition used is a solution of carbamide in aluminium-containing industrial wastes. The modified dispersed silica used has specific weight ranging from 40 to 160 g/dm3 and specific surface area ranging from 140 to 380 m2/g in amount of 0.25-2.5 wt % of the entire mass of the emulsion, and the gel forming composition is taken in amount of 50-80% of the entire volume of the emulsion.
EFFECT: more efficient insulation of water inflow.
