FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and is designed for measuring parametres of pulse pressure created with explosive source of shock waves in air. The sensor of air shock waves consists of a sensitive element in form of a piezo ceramic hollow sphere with electrodes on internal and external surfaces. The sensitive element is connected with a case via a damper. An acoustic wave guide is installed inside the spherical sensitive element, damper and case. An additional sensitive element in form of piezo polymer film with electrodes is installed in the central part of external surface of the spherical sensitive element from the side of an approaching air shock wave; one of the electrodes is united with the external electrode of the spherical sensitive element.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of recording full profile of pulse pressure in transient air shock wave due to recording its front part and parametres of pressure pulse behind front of air shock wave.
