FIELD: measurement technology; electrical measurements of pulsed mechanical load parameters in vibroacoustics and explosion physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed piezoelectric transducer has sensing element made of thin piezoelectric material that mounts electrodes on opposing surfaces, its polarization vector being perpendicular to electrodes; it also has plane-parallel leads with insulating layer in-between which are electrically connected to electrodes. Sensing element is disposed inside symmetrical strip line whose conductors function as sensor leads. Sensing element electrodes are parallel to conductors of this line. At least one acoustic waveguide is placed immediately against sensing element surface carrying electrode. Sensing element may be made of Langmuir piezoelectric film of polyvinylidene fluoride or its copolymer disposed on solid substrate. Solid substrate of Langmuir piezoelectric film may be used as acoustic waveguide.
EFFECT: enhanced resolving power and electromagnetic pickup noise immunity of transducer.
