FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical insulator. Electrical insulator (1) encloses interior space, at that it is provided with at least one thermally insulation region, integrated in it, arranged under outer surface layer (4), at that mentioned interior space is filled at least partially with fluid medium, besides insulator contains supporting pipe and thermally insulation region is located as layer between mentioned pipe and outer surface layer (4). In interior space electrical conductor may be placed. Insulator and thermally insulation region are arranged coaxially in relation to electrical conductor. Insulator is meant for medium and high voltage. Additional pipe is provided, at that thermally insulation region is located between two pipes placed coaxially to each other. Insulation region may contain foam material with entrapped gas. Insulator may be a part of electrical input equipment.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to involve insulator into thermal insulation in a better way.
