SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering and can be used for determining operating mode of electric motors. In scheme and method of determining the operating mode of electric motor, as sensor for determining the operating mode of electric motor there used is the part of operating mode itself. At output of the unit for determining the operating mode there generated is difference signal depending on operating mode of electric motor.
EFFECT: providing active signal for identifying operating mode of electric motor.
