FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroacoustics. The headphone has an earpiece joined to a housing, inside of which there is an electroacoustic transducer and sound pipe, one open end of which is inside the housing, and the housing is joined to a base with a central opening into which the electroacoustic transducer is fitted, and with a side opening into which the second open end of the sound pipe is fitted. The distinguishing feature is that, a flattened diffuser cone is also fitted coaxially and with clearance inside the housing, where the said cone is integrated with the cylindrical part on the smaller base, and the larger base of the cone has a side opening into which the sound pipe is fitted, lying parallel and near the base of the housing.
EFFECT: evening out of amplitude-frequency characteristics and increased efficiency of conversion.
