SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to improve the sound quality of acoustic, electro-acoustic guitars and electric guitars made of wood. The technical effect, which consists in determining the place of installation and fastening of the resonator plates in accordance with the maximum increase in the resonant frequencies of the volume of air in the case, the increase in the frequency spectrum and the maximum duration of the sound of a musical instrument, is achieved due to the fact that in the method of manufacturing a musical instrument containing a case with an installed a string holder, a fingerboard with a peg mechanism fixed on the body, strings fixed on the string holder and a peg mechanism, and resonator plates installed in the case on the bases, according to the claimed invention, at least three resonator plates are fixed inside the case on the upper deck in the area of the string holder located outside in places with a maximum increase in the resonant frequencies of the volume of air in the case, while the place of attachment of the resonator plates is selected by using a microphone and a program for creating music, processing and mixing sound by determining the maximum increase in resonant frequencies of the volume of air in the case.
