FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes drawing of pipe in tapered die block on fixed parallel plug. High precision of pipes dimentions, excluding influence after drawing of out-contact plasto-elastic deformation, is provided ensured by calibration of pipe outer diametre is implemented by drawing, diametre of finishing part of which is accepted equal to Ddraw=D(1+0.035logλ), where D - nominal outside diametre of finished pipe, λ - elongation ratio by section of pipe, and calibration of pipe inner diametre is implemented by parallel plug, diametre of which is equal to Dman=d(1+0.025logλ), where d - nominal inner diametre of finished pipe.
EFFECT: invention is provided for dimensional accuracy increasing of section of thin-wall precision pipes at its manufacturing, principally for envelopes of fuel elements of nuclear reactors made of corrosion-resistant steels.
