FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to gas pressure measuring methods and is intended for NDT check of gas pressure in fuel elements of nuclear reactor during their mass manufacturing. Proposed gas pressure control method consists in the fact that controlled heat flow is supplied to shell of fuel element. This flow transfers heat energy via gas being inside the shell under pressure to periphery of fuel element. Then there measured is speed of linear thermal expansion of fuel element heated with heat flow lengthwise and gas pressure is determined as per measured speed.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of gas pressure control in fuel element of nuclear reactor.
