FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: tripping module has a housing with first and second lever cavities into which actuating arms, which are on a main shaft with different interphase distances on the main shaft, enter; an actuating mechanism placed inside the housing and having an output portion stretched outside or stretched inside when an overcurrent relay sends a trip signal; a plate for returnint to the initial position fitted inside the housing for interacting with the main shaft to as to exert initial action on the output portion of the actuating mechanism; as well as a tripping slide-block having such a configuration that, it allows the switching mechanism to carry out a tripping operation. An automatic switch with such a tripping module provides for placing the module between the overcurrent relay and the switching mechanism.

EFFECT: more compact configuration and operational reliability of the tripping module, as well as possibility of its wide use in devices with different interphase distances.
