FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to psychotherapy and covers treatment of the patients with various types of dependences and phobias. The therapy involves a psychotherapeutic session containing audiovisual psychotherapeutic exposure with suggestion followed with photostimulation. The audiovisual information is supplied to the patient as an individually created multimedia project including a video and audio series, system of interactive menus wherein the patient chooses this or that process of the events during a session. Suggestion is enabled with using simultaneous exposure on visual and acoustical analysers. The background for the audio series during the whole session is various musical fragments. The whole audio series is processed in a computer program to add binaural beatings thereto. The session involves photostimulation of various frequencies combined with phonostimulation comprising frequency-modulated binaural beatings identical to the photostimulation frequency. The whole session is performed with underlying transcranial electrostimulation.
EFFECT: method allows for possible fastening and intensifying subconscious perception level in the patient aiming at escaping the dependence.
