FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes grinding, sorting out and cleaning of grinned metallic wastes, charging it into briquette press, pressing of mass and receiving of product in the form of briquette. In the capacity of metallic wastes there are used wastes of aluminium and iron-containing wastes, which are batched and loaded into mixer, mixture of wastes is intimated and simultaneously cleaned. Cleaning in mixture is implemented at excessive pressure in inert medium with gradual temperature build-up of inert medium from 0.22 up to 0.70 from melting temperature of fusible component of mixture - waste of aluminium. It is received mass with simultaneous distribution of components in it, which is measured loaded into closed spaced of puck maker and pressed at specific pressure 500-1000 kg/cm2 int he mode of exothermal heating in air.
EFFECT: invention provides receiving of briquette for deoxidisation of high grade with high retention cycle, allowing ability of increasing of castability of melt of deoxidised metal.
