FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device contains one or two space-saving plasmatron with nozzles, exciting arc of normal polarity, device for fixation, rotation and adjustment of plasmatron during the tempering process, scanner assembly of direct polarity arc, implemented in the form of generator, coil and ferromagnetic grip, rectifier with drooping characteristic and floating voltage 80-90 V, one or two consoles with built-in oscillator and measuring apparatus, position indicator of alternating voltage on coil, direct voltage adjuster on coil, herewith ferromagnetic grip of scanner assembly are located at butt of plasmatron's nozzle and allows system of its cooling. Presence of scanner assembly allows receiving of tempered strip of width 8-20 mm, that increases productivity of tempering. Scanning provides receiving of cogged stabilised arc, which can burn in out-of-the-way places of tempered odd-shaped details.
EFFECT: obtaining stationary arc at a distance of nozzle up to processed product in the range from 8 up to 20, ability of device operation in manual mode at tempering of odd-shaped details.
