FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to measurement equipment and may be used to assess deformation of gas turbine engine stator deformation. Method for assessment of stator deformation and parametres of rotor run-out in gas turbine engine consists in the fact that four clusters of single-turn vortex-current clearance detectors are engaged with ends of working blades. Clusters of detectors are arranged on stator along axes of rectangular system of coordinates, centre of which is matched with centre of rotation of controlled impeller, ends of detectors with sensitive elements are arranged on the level of internal surface of stator in zone of interaction of electromagnet field of each sensitive element of detector with ends of impeller blades; deformation of stator along axes of coordinates, size and direction of stator geometrical centre shift versus centre of impeller rotation are assessed by means of joint processing of radial clearance measurement results between end of each blade versus geometric centre of each cluster of detectors and numerical modeling of elastic and thermal deformations of impeller structure elements - disk, blade and its lock. Amplitude of impeller run-out (radius of run-out) is assessed by positions and dimensions of maximum and minimum values of radial clearance, which is measured relative to any detector.
EFFECT: detection and quantitative assessment of gas turbine engine design elements deformation in working mode in zone of installation of cluster vortex-current clearance detectors.
