FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measuring equipment and can be used to measure a radial clearance (RC) between the ends of the impeller blades (RB) and the stator shell of a gas-turbine engine (GTE). Method for measuring radial clearances between the ends of the impeller blades during its rotation and the stator shell of a gas-turbine engine is proposed. To measure radial gaps between the ends of the impeller blades and the stator of the gas-turbine engine, the first and second single-turn eddy current sensors included in the differential measuring circuit are placed separately at two control points above the impeller blade row on the stator shell of the gas-turbine engine with a shift in the angular direction, whereby the sensors perform the operating and compensating functions alternately. Further, the extreme values of the output voltage of the measuring circuit are recorded when the sensing elements of the first and second sensors pass through the end of the controlled blade; the radial clearance between the stator and the end of the controlled blade is calculated at the monitoring points for the fixed extreme values of the voltage of the measuring circuit and the previously removed gradient characteristics.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the accuracy of the measurement with decreasing temperature effect, as well as to reduce the number of sensors and mounting holes at each control point.
