FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, particularly, to ballistic pendulum hammers intended for shock effect tests. Proposed hammer comprises bases supporting first platform and rotation drive, two colliding pendulums for tested entities to be fitted thereon. Said pendulums are arranged to turn in opposite directions. It comprises also synchronizer of pendulums rotation comprising two wheels coupled between themselves and with dais pendulums, weight shifted from the first platform rotational axis and pendulum initial position retainer. Note here that second platform with rotation drive is arranged on first platform, said platform rotational axis being perpendicular to that of the first platform. Note also that synchronizer wheels, pendulums and weight are located on second platform, while synchronizer both wheels can turn in initial position.
EFFECT: increased test data volume by testing in varying mass forces in both one plane and two mutually perpendicular planes of interacting entities cross sections at equal or different mass forces.
