FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to reduce time required to determine spatial orientation of objects with the help of interferometry. Proposed method allows determining angular orientation from the results of one or several measurements of n-spacecraft signal phase shifts, differing in time, and can be realized via selection of integer ambiguities of measured values, ruling out excess values of angular orientation by checking said values for compliance with a priori data on the distance between antennas and angular orientation, and testing with the use of signals from additional spacecraft. Unknown angular orientation value sought for is determined using the maximum likelihood criterion.
EFFECT: fast determination of angular position from results of one measurement of phase shifts of several space apparatuses.
