FIELD: rescue operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rescue operations. Proposed method is based on range-finder method of locating a point on the plane from several spaced apart positions. It consists in providing risk-group people with transceivers relaying signals with frequency shift inherent in only this repeater, said frequency shift being used for identification of particular person. Set of devices used in implementing proposed method comprises a scanning unit that allows an unambiguous range finding by phase method. Signal radiated by said scanning unit propagates through the goaf to be received by repeater and relayed with intrinsic frequency shifts. Scanning unit is tuned to reception of relayed signals of one of the repeaters. Signal received, phase shift between irradiated signal and received signal is used to measure first range by phase method. Scanning unit is move second position to measure second range. Point of intersection of the first and second lines of repeater position plane is determined. Extra frequency shift of repeater is used to identify person buried under the goaf.
EFFECT: reduced time of rescue operation.
