FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radars. Peculiar feature of the disclosed digital active phased antenna array (DAPAR) is that the fourth output of the synchronizer is connected to the third input of the switch, the fifth and the sixth outputs of the synchronizer are connected to the fourth inputs of the first and the second coherent heterodynes, herewith the central processor for the used specified DAPAR operation mode outputs the commands of setting the initial frequency and steepness of the linear frequency modulation to the first and the second coherent UHF heterodynes, the commands of setting the repetition period and the duration of sounding pulses to the synchronizer, the commands of setting the initial phase and amplitude of a signal individually for each transmitter-receiver module (TRM), the signal modulation parameters and the receiving gate in the programmable logical integral circuit (PLIC) of each TRM.
EFFECT: technical result is wider range of the sounding pulses spectrum for increasing the resolution by range without increasing the volume of formed digital data.
