FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to seismic exploration and is designed for exciting elastic waves of longitudinal or transverse type by using energy of compressed springs. Non-explosive device for exciting seismic vibrations consists of springs, platform, striking mechanism. At that, on massive plate there fixed is thick-walled cylinder inside which there located are three automobile springs put on stock with striker protruding above massive cover in position of compressed springs brought into operating condition by means of automobile or any other power-operated rod.
EFFECT: increasing power acting on ground, reducing material costs and simplifying the design.
