FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysical exploration of hydrocarbons, particularly to methods of exciting vibrations during seismic exploration of oil and gas deposits. Disclosed is a method of exciting oscillations with an explosive source for seismic exploration on an ice-covered water body, according to which a vehicle is used to transport a drilling rig. Auger column with length of 20 meters, consisting of interconnected hollow augers, is installed in the hole. Hollow augers are equipped with shaped projections and slots, at the same time the shaped projection of one screw is installed in the mating slot of the adjacent auger. Bottom well is drilled with depth of not less than 4.5–6 meters. Explosive charge with mass of not less than 0.17 kg is placed into the bottom hole through the opening cover of the bit. Screw column is lifted, explosive charge is exploded.
EFFECT: wider area of seismic survey and improved quality of seismic survey.
