When the element receives a session request which identifies the user, it checks whether the session request conforms to the user filter criterion, and moves the session request to the given service platform if the session request conforms to the user filter criterion. Before directing the request to the service platform, the element can extract a possibility information element, which indicates dynamic possibilities for the user to use the service provided by the service platform. If the information element indicates that the user cannot use the service provided by the service platform, the session is ended. Incoming messages can then be processed in the network element responsible for managing the service, which removes additional load and unnecessary tariffing.
