FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention covers vehicles that move in gaseous or fluid medium and can be used in VTOL aircraft. Method to produce motive force with axial symmetry consists in that, ahead of aircraft front surface, medium flow is created with radially with radially diverging and azimuthal motion, and rarefaction is produced there below. Motion direction of external medium sucked into rarefaction zone is deflected so that the flow approaches the front surface tangentially. For this the flow is deflected, in the radial flow formation zone, from the axis, while, on remaining part of aircraft front surface, it is deflected towards aircraft axis. Proposed vehicle comprises airframe and device to form medium radial flow that represents a radial-flow fan with blades arranged ahead of airframe surface. Fan blades comprise a section curved towards motion direction, and a flat section. Said fan has forming bottom that intersects the blade flat section. Tapered bottom is medium-permeable. Aircraft surface is shaped, while surface section under the fan is flat. At sizes exceeding those of the blades, airframe is curved towards the axis.
