FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat engine has turbine and compressor mounted on a common shaft, closed loop with a heat carrier and provided with portions for withdrawing and supplying heat, and devices for heat supply and heat withdrawing. The loop is arranged on the common rotor. The heat supply portion of the loop is positioned so that a distance between it and the axis of the rotor is large than a distance between the portion for heat withdrawing and the axis of the rotor. The loop is curved tangentially in spiral in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the rotor and at least does a turn around the axis of the rotor.
