FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: source bio-mass is supplied into one or several continuously operating vertical vessels enclosed into common heat insulating shell. Heat required for pyrolysis process is transferred to bio-mass through walls of the vessels form combustible products of pyrolysis fuel moving upward via heating channels of vessels. Heating channels are formed with neighbour walls of the vessels and walls of the vessels and the heat insulating shell. Pyrolysis gases moving inside the vessels upward are filtered through a layer of hot coal residue in lower sections of the vessels; further the gases are withdrawn and directed to condensation and cooling of not-condensed pyrolysis gases. Cooled not-condensed pyrolysis gases are directed to cooling coal residue.
EFFECT: production of fuel of high calories at continuous operation of pyrolysis installation and simplification of maintenance.
