FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of SNG and coal char obtaining by pyrolysis reaction of biomass may be used in heat-power industry, electric power production and chemical synthesis of organic compounds. Method of SNG obtaining by biomass pyrolysis includes auger transportation of raw material through pyrolysis zone, where there is pyrolysis reaction of organic compounds resulting in calorific power gas production. Also separation of solid and gaseous substances with precipitation of solid residue, recycling of water vapour and solid residue with transportation of received heat to the other process stages. The difference is that the method is applied at continuous simultaneous operation of auger system of three rooms: drying, pyrolysis and separation. First, biomass for pyrolysis is sent to storage hopper, then it goes through drying zone with performance of simultaneous heating of drying zone by kiln gases and collection of the condensate to special steam header. Vapour is released apart from kiln gases. Released vapour is again directed to drying room for temperature optimisation and prevention of drying space overheating to the preferable temperature of 400 degrees centigrade. Excessive vapour is removed from drying room at reaching comfort temperature. Dried raw material is collected in the hopper. From the hopper some part of the material via auger is sent to combustion with generation of kiln gases for auger pyrolysis reactor heating. The rest of the dried material is forwarded via auger into pyrolysis chamber and transport it within 2 - 7 minutes through heated pyrolysis auger space with provision of equal thickness of heated biomass layer. Via continuous convective heat exchange between the walls of auger chamber and material biomass is decomposed, while high-BTU gas released during pyrolysis is collected in special reservoir from which it is forwarded to the consumer. Meanwhile solid carbonic residue is used in combustion chamber with utilisation of hazardous liquid and solid impurities as resins and tar oils. Coal char is collected in gas and coal char intake chamber and via water-cooled auger sent to the consumer. Kiln gases after heating of pyrolysis auger and drying auger are discharged through the flue duct and return gas leakage is prevented by gas bag.
EFFECT: decomposition of wide range of organic raw materials by pyrolysis with obtaining of high-BTU SNG and solid residue in a form of coal char at maximum use of biomass heat energy.
