FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotary-vane engine with irregular travel of working members comprises fixed housing with work chamber, main vane working members (partitions), crankshaft with main journals resting upon engine side sections, auxiliary vane working members (partitions) and crankshaft attachment casing. Said crankshaft is articulated, via con rods and piston pins, with vane rotor crank axles. Work chamber is formed by cylinder. Main fixed working members are rigidly attached to the semi-circular cylinder inner working surface. Crankshaft features constant angular speed. Auxiliary vane working members are tightly fitted onto vane rotor disk. The latter is hinged to fixed hollow axle resting upon side covers of work chamber sections. Crankshaft with con rod are arranged inside engine crankcase. Vane rotor crank radius is subject to preset travel of working members in semi-circular cylinder circular work chamber and can be larger, smaller than or equal to crankshaft crank radius. Rotary-vane engine crankcase can accommodate crankshaft with whatever number of crank journals at whatever angles. Single main con rods can be arranged on crank journals, or those integrated with hook-on con rods can be arranged thereon.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and longer life.
