FIELD: engine-building.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns to engine-building, particularly to converting mechanisms of linear movement of piston into shaft rotation. The matter of the invention is that multibank internal combustion engine contains rods, which are connected by end caps to pistons, and middle caps to crank axes of middle crank shafts. Middle crank shaft is formed with two satellites installed on neck bush of cages and immovable fastened with flanges, and the second crank shaft is formed with two cages with neck bushes serving as crank axes of middle crank shaft. Fixed crown gear with internal rim of hypocyclic mechanism is rigidly fastened in the case and kinematically connected to satellites, and angles of knees of cranked portion on the middle shafts of multibank engine are defined by cylinders angle on the engine case and are equal to a double angle of cylinders on the engine case. Thus angles of cylinders and cranks of middle crank shaft are divided by 2 and 3.
EFFECT: increase of overall performance of the engine.
