FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: windmill comprises rotor vertical hollow shaft with elements pivoting it to wind-power unit external structure and vertical sails with arc-bent lateral surface. Sails are arranged on carrying disks rigidly fixed onto rotor shaft disks and furnished with face walls with rigid disks for sails to be interconnected and slots for fitting on the rotor shaft. In wind-power unit transportation, said sails can be nested one into another. Wind-power unit carrying axle is fitted into rotor vertical hollow shaft via movable joint. Sails can be arranged into two levels, each comprising at least two sails. Wind-power unit base represents an intake tube with upper and lower eyelets. Rods with lugs are hinged to lower eyelets, said rotary rods having slots to adjust position of lower ends of struts. Upper ends of the latter are hinged to upper eyelets of aforesaid intake tube of the wind-power unit base.
EFFECT: higher rigidity of sails, easier assembly/disassembly, reduced transportation position volume.
