FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique namely to means of controlling the speed and the direction of wind and is designed as for residential application, so for equipping beacons, meteorological stations.

SUBSTANCE: in the body of the weathercock there are a code sensor of azimuth, a micro electrical generator with a wind mover, a converter of electromotive force of the micro electrical generator into a code, an amplitude mode transmitter, a switchboard and a meter impulse clock, and also a primary source of feeding recharged from the micro electrical generator of electromotive force through a current stabilizer. At that the structure of the receiving arrangement provides at the output visual induction of the speed and the direction of wind. The variant of the weathercock is equipped with a timer of current time, a former of the intervals of signaling, a synthesizer and a radiator of sound signals, a synthesizer and a light dead-end arrangement.
