FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises mechanical processing bearing journals, drilling blind holes therein on the side of loaded section and journals cementing. Note here that every journal is produced built-up consisting of at least two elements, i.e. the main element representing a shaft or axle, and an additional element representing a floating beating comprising at least two cups arranged concentrically and rigidly jointed together. Blind holes of the larger-diametre cup extend over the entire inner surface, while those of smaller-diametre cup extend over the entire outer surface till bush cemented section. Note also that the distance between blind hole bottom and mating surface of the cup is selected equal to at least tolerable amount of plain bearing wear. Floating bearing incorporates an extra cup made from a bit softer material and arranged between aforesaid two cups rigidly jointed thereto.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance and serviceability, ease of manufacture.
