FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) includes three computing navigation platforms, each of which has its own control law. Each platform performs damping of inertial errors (IE) as per its own law. At that, inertial error depends on the main aircraft movement parametres: roll, heading derivative, horizontal constituent parts of linear carrier acceleration; also on data quality of source of satellite navigation system, which is external in relation to the system. Master filter receiving output platform signals performs their optimum processing.
