FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: platform-free system of orientation comprises two computing platforms, every of which realises its law of control. One of them carries out damping along internal accelerations limited by a linear function. The second one uses estimates of an adaptive Kalman filter for realisation of error damping. At the same time if in the first platform the damping coefficients are selected as high, then in the second one damping is carried out with coefficients of low value. At the same time sensitive elements of medium accuracy are gyroscopic sensors of angular speed with drift instability 0.5-10 degrees/hr and accelerometers with instability of the field 1·10-3g-4·10-3 g.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of angular orientation.
