PLATFORMLESS INS ORIENTATION ANGLES CORRECTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01C21/06

Abstract RU 2796328 C1

FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to provide means of navigation for moving objects. The essence of the claimed method is as follows. The algorithm for the joint estimation of the roll, pitch and yaw of an aircraft (AC) based on measurements of three-component angular velocity sensors (AVS), linear acceleration sensors (LAS), one receiver of a satellite navigation system (SNS) is carried out using Kalman filtering of the third order. Linear accelerations are measured using functions that determine the relationship between g-force measurements and aircraft flight parameters and contain accelerometer measurements. In the main mode, the parameters of linear velocities and accelerations are obtained from the projections of the ground velocities of a single-antenna SNS receiver by means of coordinate transformations and differentiations. When visibility deteriorates along the route, the backup mode is activated, in which the ground speed from the SNS and the true airspeed of the aircraft from the air signal system (ASS) are used to clarify the course.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and ensuring continuous correction of the pitch, roll and heading angles in the conditions of maneuvering in flight, including in the absence of signals from the SNS in the standby mode.
