FIELD: engineering industry.

SUBSTANCE: flow metre includes liquid level measurement unit 1, unit 2 for measuring average liquid flow velocity, and electronic signal receiving and processing unit. Units 1, 2 are located between pontoon 3 and ballast 4. Unit 2 is made in the form of hinged parallelogram mechanisms mounted by means of axes 5 - 10 and spacing sleeves. Propeller-type flow meters 20 are installed between parallelogram mechanisms by means of rods 17, fixed 18 and movable couplings 19. In longitudinal central plane of housing of each flow metre there installed are constant ferromagnets, and in through channels of each fixed coupling there located are normally open and/or normally closed magnetically operated contacts. Unit 1 is made in the form of double linear rheochord. Ballast 4 to be submerged and fixed in bottom part of water reservoir or water course of unit 2 is made in the form of streamlined capacity connected to ends of rods 44, 45 of parallelogram mechanisms and lower end of rope 62 of mechanism 62, 63 of rise of ballast mounted on pontoon 3.

EFFECT: invention improves accuracy and reliability of water records in irrigation systems.
