SUBSTANCE: installation for testing samples of materials with repeated impacts has a housing fitted with a pendulum in form of a double-arm lever with a load on one of its arms, apparatus for swinging the pendulum, a passive sample gripping device attached to the other arm of the lever, an active sample gripping device, a carrier, a mechanism for reciprocal motion of the carrier perpendicular the axis of oscillation of the pendulum, supports mounted on the carrier at different sides of the axis of oscillation of the pendulum and designed for periodical interaction with the active gripping device. According to the invention, the housing is mounted on a base and joined to a mechanism for reciprocal motion of the housing relative the axis of oscillation of the pendulum.

EFFECT: increased information content due testing not only single-cycle or two-cycle loading, but also during three-cycle loading.
