FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: installation for testing materials samples by repeated impacts comprises a casing, a pendulum set on it and made in the form of a double-arm lever with a weight piece on one its end, a pendulum swinging device, a passive sample gripping unit fixed on the other lever end, an active sample gripping unit, adjustable stoppers placed by both sides of the pendulum swinging axis and aimed at periodical interaction with the active gripping unit. The casing is equipped by additional pendulums according to the number of the additional samples with passive and active sample gripping units, stoppers for the interaction with the additional active gripping units; the additional pendulums are mounted parallel to the basic one and are pivotally connected to it, the active gripping unit is coupled with a spring fixed on the casing; or the active gripping unit is fitted by an elastic plate with its end being aimed at the interaction with the stoppers.
EFFECT: increased data volume at studying physical and mechanical properties of materials due to the implementation of new test modes - at the interaction of the group of samples under their loading with alternating impact bending loads and at the action of axial and bending loads preceding the impacts and acting after them.
