FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition for use in preparing ethylene α-olefin multi-block copolymers having one crystal melting point Tm defined using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The said composition contains a mixture or reaction product obtained by combining: (A) a first olefin polymerisation catalyst, (B) a second olefin polymerisation catalyst which promotes production of polymers distinguished by chemical or physical properties from the polymer obtained with catalyst (A) under equivalent polymerisation conditions, and (C) a chain shuttling agent. Under olefin polymerisation conditions, the chain shuttling agent transfers polymer fragments between active sites of catalysts (A) and (B).

EFFECT: obtaining multi-block copolymers with high output and selectivity.
