FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is new thermoreactive elastomers comprising either pseudostatic cross-linked copolymer consisting of (a) 15-70 wt % of at least one alpha-olefin, (b) 30-70 wt % at least one vinyl aromatic compound and (c) 0-15 wt % of at least one diene, either (2) substantially static cross-linked copolymer consisting of (a) 15-70 wt % of at least one alpha-olefin, (b) 30-70 wt % of at least one vinyl aromatic compound and (c) 0-15 wt % of at least one diene. The above-mention materials have superb properties as compared with those of ethylene-propylene- diene rubber-based materials.
