FIELD: metalloorganic compounds, catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel catalysts of coordinating polymerization containing metallocomplex and activating cocatalyst. Metallocomplex has the general formula (I) where R₁ and R₂ mean independently hydrogen atom or C_1-6-alkyl under condition that R₁ and R₂ are not hydrogen atom simultaneously; R₃, R₄, R₅, R₆ mean independently hydrogen atom, C_1-6-alkyl or phenyl group; M means titanium; Y means -NR^*-; Z^* means SiR₂; R^* means hydrocarbyl; p = 0, 1 or 2; q = 0 or 1 under condition that when p = 2 then q = 0, M is in the formal state of oxidation +4 and X means halide or hydrocarbyl; when p = 1 then q = 1, M is in the formal state of oxidation +2 and X' means neutral coupled diene substituted with two hydrocarbyl groups being indicated X' forms π-complex with M; and activating catalyst has alumoxane and tris-pentafluorophenyl-borane. Invention describes method of polymerization of olefins also. Proposed catalysts and method provide high-effective production of high-molecular olefin polymers in the broad limits of polymerization conditions, in part, at increased temperatures.
