SUBSTANCE: proposed block latch of long-barrel submachine gun comprises spring-loaded element arranged to act on rifleman hand embracing pistol handle. This spring-loaded pivoted fork-like block latch has its pivot joint fitted nearby elongated trigger of bullpap-design gun and its arms embracing muzzle part of lower lengthwise opening intended for cartridge case extraction and fitted between two pistol handles. There are two thumb pieces for rifleman thumb to act thereon. Said block latch shares common axle with firing mechanism rear position retainer and incorporates common return spring. It comprises also breech box vertical ledge for breech frame to engage, with block latch IN, the guide stock, slide-type trigger, tube cantilever element, spring-loaded firing mechanism and gas piston lower ledge rigidly coupled with breech frame.
